Why Audible Works So Well for Tweens
One thing I have noticed about tweens is that audiobooks feel different than traditional reading.
Kids who resist sitting down with a book will suddenly listen for hours while drawing, building, cleaning their room, or riding in the car.
It still builds vocabulary. It still exposes them to strong stories. It still counts as reading in my opinion.
And honestly? Family listening time has become one of my favorite low effort ways to connect.
